Lakeshorts thanks Telefilm for their generous donation to the 2022 season to promote and support Canadian content.

lakeshorts is making some changes!

The pandemic has had lasting impact on many arts organizations across the world. The Lakeshorts team is using this 2022/23 year to reassess how to continue to bring you the most amazing films from around the world. Submissions for the 23/24 season will be announced on twitter @lakeshortsfilm and here on the website.

Lakeshorts International Short Film Festival celebrated a decade of great short film with an amazing celebration. Thank you to everyone who makes this labour of love possible!

Lakeshorts is also excited to announce the inaugural year of Grand River Shorts held at the Dominion Telegraph Centre in Paris, Ontario.
